Forget Google PPC, annoying banner ads or expensive viral campaigns – Affiliate Marketing is all about paying for results.
Many owners are probably aware of the power of this brilliant marketing medium but for those of you who are not, I’ll give you a quick break down.
This is the easiest way to manage an affiliate scheme:
- You (Merchant/Seller): Join up with an "Affiliate Network" who manage your account.
- Affiliate Network: Plugs you in to various "Affiliates" who list your products and drive traffic to your site.
- You then pay the affiliate a percentage of the sale, typically anywhere between 3% to 15% depending on your agreement.
